Established in 1993 by Terry Thompson, Signals Driving School has been providing driver’s education classes to teens and adults throughout Lawrence and surrounding counties for 3 decades. Signals continues to offer traditional, online, and behind-the-wheel training classes in 2023 under new owner, Dustin George, and our team of certified instructors. Signals welcomes all teens 15 years of age or older interested in obtaining an Indiana Permit and Drivers License.
New drivers only get one chance to learn how to drive safely, and being a new driver comes with great responsibility. The instructors at Signals Driving School are committed to teaching our students to be the safest drivers on the road. Our licensed instructors guarantee our students will receive the most up-to-date techniques, information, and safe-driving standards. Let our Signals Driving Center experts make the transition easier for you in becoming a new, responsible driver.
Any Indiana resident over the age of 15 is eligible to take and complete the course. If the student is 15 at the time registration, we will issue you a CDE form (Certificate of enrollment) that they will need to obtain their Driver Education Learner Permit. Once you have received the certificate from us, the student will be allowed by the BMV to take the required written test to obtain their permit. If the student is 16 or older at the time of registration, the CDE will not be needed to acquire the permit.
